Queen Lady Passion
Lady Passion (Dixie Deerman) has practiced Witchcraft since 1976. Lady Passion is a Third-degree Gardnerian Elder in the California Line, and High Priestess of Coven Oldenwilde in Asheville, NC. She was Initiated by Lady Runach & Morgann of Coven Trismegiston on June 11, 1995, and Elevated to the Sublime & Ultimate Third Degree by *Diuvei on Feb. 25, 1998. Her magical specialties are all forms of divination, herbalism, and creating elaborate ritual for thousands. A healer and registered nurse since 1988, she has done divination for private clients since 1979.
Alysha Pytlarz
Alysha Pytlarz is a 22-year-old student in her senior year at UNCW. She began studying Wicca on her own about two years ago through a friend of hers being Wiccan. Alysha believes that there are aspects of Wicca that she can and does carry into her current belief system, but she wouldn't say that she herself has left her Christian background for Wicca. She does however believe there are several aspects of many religions that she agrees with and finds herself integrating them into her current beliefs. Alysha hopes that one day the negative stigma surrounding Wicca will be a thing of the past and people will be more willing to understand the peaceful nature of the religion.
Danny Lavan
Danny Lavan is a 21-year-old Wiccan in Wilmington NC who has been practicing for a little over a year and a half. After being raised on religious beliefs that he did not agree with, Danny decided to start researching Wicca. He found that a lot of his own ideas and beliefs coincided with Wicca point to point, which is what made him decide to start practicing. Since moving to Wilmington NC, he hopes to one day form a group that will allow him and other local Wiccans to come together and share their beliefs.
